ok like i said before im going for a "limbo" feel. so for future projects i will be making and updating concept art. as far as the final is concerned i will be putting together a possible indesign page explaining the story mechanics of the game characters and maps and basically giving an overview of my game.

and because my game is going to be 2d i probably will not use this i just did it to complete the assignment and learn about maya. so its an easy maze i added a lower room where a key item would be.

so here is a maze template even though i will not be using this maze for my game but i decided to make one any way

ok so as far as my maze is concerned:
the game will be 2d side scrolled each level will be a maze with certain puzzles to do to open new passage ways to get to the next level you will by the end of the level have gone through every part of the maze.

Going with the whole limbo theme i gave my rabbit a full silhouette with the only color coming through  is the reed in the blood, eyes, mouth, and nose this is only a rough cut of what he will look like
this is a snap shot from the game limbo this is the look i am going for except the only color that the player will see is red the rest black and white, i also want the mechanics to work like this game side scroller. not only is this a cool look it is simple enough to do on a large scale

Each character has its own special ability bar that gains over time.  all 3 characters have 4 power-ups to find in the game before completion.

clown: deeply depressed after the end of the world he can't make people laugh anymore because there are no people left. 

Abilities: medium life bar
great strength
slow

special: increases speed

Power ups:
1. clown shoes
2. squeaky nose
3. gloves
4. acid flower



Skeleton: he feels nothing he is hollow seeking for a purpose for life.

Abilities: very large life bar
little strength 
medium speed.

Power ups:
1: brain
2: heart
3: muscle 
4: skin

Rabbit: all hopped up on carrot juice he has no purpose he just keeps going and going and going. 

Abilities: Small life bar
medium strength
extremely fast  

Power ups:
1. your brothers lucky foot
2. carrot juice
3. energizer battery
4.  the juicer...

simple enough the game is about rabbits vs clowns. Why you may ask? because i can. it takes place in a surreal world. the only point of the game is to have fun you can play as both the clowns and rabbits its the players choice. rabbits have different abilities and weapons that are powered on carrot juice. clowns have different abilities that are powered by laughter and sadness. the purpose is to rule the world that these two cultures live in by destroying each others communities. it will be meant for adults and be a very dark but funny game.

This is the final draft of my rock paper scissors project i decided to change the layout from horizontal to vertical. i made the instructions as simple as they could be. i added icons of each symbol and gave them a personality by explaining their purpose in the game. as simple as it may seem i add the political header because it adds a whole new dimension to the project where the line becomes blurred for who these instructions are intended for. its kind of a satire about politics and how dumb some political figures are and how they need the simplest instructions to get things done, like playing rock paper scissors.
